March 8, 2007 Long Overdue

I know it has been quite a while since my last entry.  I have missed a lot of topics I wanted to cover.  But have no fear, I am back…and I have a REALLY good rant I need to discuss.

Recently, Robin Williams’ movie “Man of the Year” was released on DVD.  Now, most people know my feelings about this guy…but come on….now he is stealing MY ideas!!!  I have been talking about running for President for YEARS!!!  I havn’t bothered to see the movie…I am sure the best parts were already shown in the previews….but I know my ideas for when I get in office are better….and I will discuss them at lenght another time.  But for now, all my ire will be directed at Mr. Williams. 

In the comedy world, it is legend (or common knowledge) that Mork has been known to, shall we say, “borrow” material from other comics.  I have not been in the business that long, and I know he has not been to see one of my shows…nor do we hang in the same circles.  How did he find the time between (deleted for fear of lawsuit) and (also deleted for fear of lawsuit) to steal my shit?  Oh well, what comes around, goes around.  My only wish is that Lewis Black took the time to punch “The Fisher King” in the mouth as soon as the movie rapped!

So, that is all for now…I will have another entry in a couple of days.  It is hockey season…and for you sports fans…you don’t want to miss this.  Until then, drinks are on me.
